CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: India cross 150 in Asian Games final, Tilak-Shivam at crease

Nagoya. An exciting contest between India and Pakistan is under way in the men’s cricket final of the Asian Games 2026. India won the toss and decided to bat first, and the team’s score has now crossed 150 runs. The final overs of the Indian innings are in progress, and the team is moving towards a big total.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Abhishek Sharma opened the Indian innings. Vaibhav was dismissed for 15 runs, while Abhishek Sharma played a quick half-century knock to give the team a strong start. After his dismissal, the Indian middle order took charge of the batting.

Tilak Varma and Shivam Dube are currently at the crease, with both batters carrying the responsibility of scoring quickly in the death overs. India are looking to set Pakistan a challenging target. The match between the two teams is being played at Korogi Sports Park in Nishin, Japan.

India had earlier reached the final by defeating Sri Lanka by 124 runs in the semi-final, while Pakistan beat Bangladesh by six wickets in a rain-affected semi-final. India have taken the field with the aim of defending their previous Asian Games cricket gold medal.
