CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In Sultanpur, Union Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, inaugurated the Bhoomi Pujan, inauguration, and beneficiary distribution program by lighting the ceremonial lamp. On this occasion, Director Chouhan performed the Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of development works worth over 7 crore 40 lakh rupees in the Bhojpur region. He also provided sanction letters to beneficiaries under various schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
In his address, Director Chouhan congratulated Sultanpur Tehsil for securing the first position in the revenue Mahabhiyaan and said that the government is committed to delivering services to citizens with ease. He mentioned that the construction of 40 new roads in the area will accelerate development, and every poor person will get a permanent house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Director Chouhan reiterated the commitment to building a powerful and prosperous India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that rural areas will be developed with ensured access to roads, water, electricity, and employment opportunities. Additionally, women will be economically empowered by linking them with self-help groups.
The program was attended by Minister Narayan Singh Panwar, MLA Surendra Patwa, Prabhuram Chaudhary, along with several other public representatives and officials. Beneficiaries were also handed over sanction letters and house keys.
