The Indian Knowledge Tradition Cell at Sarojini Naidu Government Girls Postgraduate College, Bhopal, organised the Indian Knowledge Culture Examination. The main objective of the examination was to connect students with Indian culture, values, moral principles, and the lives and ideals of great personalities. Objective-type questions were asked on various subjects, including the basic principles of Indian culture, the Ramayana, the Mahabharata, the importance of the Vedas, environmental protection, respect for women, and drug de-addiction. The students participated enthusiastically in the examination and displayed their interest in Indian knowledge and culture.
On the occasion, college principal Pratima Yadav said such examinations help develop among students a sense of patriotism, values, morality, social responsibility, and respect for the Indian knowledge tradition. She said connecting the values of Indian culture with students’ lives is especially important in the present times.
Programme convener Nisha Jain said the Indian Knowledge Culture Examination is an effective medium to connect students with India’s glorious traditions, values, and life principles. She congratulated the students for their enthusiastic participation. The examination was conducted by Govind Mansure. Cell members Aparna Badal, Prachi Singh, Pallavi Pandey, Nutan Kewat, Prashasti Bhargava, Nishi Sharma, Neha Choudhary, Varsha Dhakad, Anand Tripathi, and Pragya Sharma contributed to the successful organisation of the examination. Members of the cell said such examinations not only connect students with their culture and roots but also play an important role in enhancing their knowledge, moral development, and personality building. Students securing first, second, and third positions in the examination will be honoured with prizes and certificates. The enthusiastic participation of the students made the examination successful and meaningful.
