CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A Unique Stamp Exhibition Held at West Central Railway Headquarters on the Occasion of Indian Railways Foundation Day
A special exhibition of unique postage stamps was organized at the General Manager’s Office of West Central Railway under the guidance of Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Director Prabhat, to mark the Foundation Day of Indian Railways.
The exhibition featured a collection of stamps related to Indian Railways from 1853 to the present, curated by stamp collector Director Arvind Malik. The event was conducted under the direction of Chief Personnel Officer (Administration) S. D. Patidar and the patronage of Chief Personnel Officer (IR) Ajay Kumar Dixit. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Deputy Chief Personnel Officer (Headquarters).
A highlight of the exhibition was the display of postage stamps issued to commemorate major milestones and achievements of Indian Railways, including the first passenger train, 75 glorious years of electric traction, and the stamp released on the completion of 150 years of Indian Railways.
A large number of officials and employees visited and observed the exhibition. The program was also attended by Deputy Chief Personnel Officer (IR) Sanjay Kumar, Assistant Personnel Officer (Welfare) Abhay Kumar Gupta, and other officers and staff members.
