CNN Central News and Network – ITDC India Press / ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal’s Ygya Purohit has not only made a mark at the national level but has also achieved a unique accomplishment at the prestigious IISER Tirupati. Yagya Purohit and Siddharth Paliwal are leading India’s first National Conference on Undergraduate Research in Biosciences (NCURB). The aim of this pioneering program is to bring together students and experts from various fields, encourage new perspectives, and promote collaboration. Their initiative is a significant step towards empowering the young generation in the education sector.
Scheduled for December 16 and 17, this two-day conference serves as an exemplary example of contributing to India’s developing undergraduate research environment. It is a platform that unites researchers from across the country, and NCURB strives to inspire and empower students to launch their own leading projects—driven by undergraduates for undergraduates. Any student currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, or who has completed their degree, or is pursuing a postgraduate/equivalent degree, can participate. The deadline for submitting research paper abstracts is November 3, 2024. For more information and updates about the conference, please visit the IISER Tirupati website.
