CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Chief Minister and President of the Jan Abhiyan Parishad, Dr. Mohan Yadav, addressing the state-level seminar “From Swadeshi to Self-Reliance” held at Kushabhau Thakre International Auditorium, stated that indigenous products are not just commodities but represent our national identity, heritage, and honor. He described Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Vocal for Local” campaign as an important step in promoting the spirit of Indian pride.

The Chief Minister urged the residents of the state to not only use indigenous products themselves but also encourage those around them to do the same. He emphasized that the spirit of Swadeshi is the path to true national service and that it strengthens the economy.

The seminar began with the singing of “Vande Mataram”, lighting of the ceremonial lamp, and offering of flowers to the portrait of Bharat Mata. During the event, the Chief Minister inaugurated Swadeshi posters and brochures prepared by the Jan Abhiyan Parishad, listing various indigenous products.

On this occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between the Jan Abhiyan Parishad and Swadeshi Jagran Manch for the promotion of indigenous products. Dr. Yadav extended greetings on National Small Industries Day, highlighting that small industries are the backbone of the economy. He also mentioned initiatives for the development of religious, spiritual, and forest tourism, as well as investment and employment generation in the MSME and mining sectors.

The event was attended by Baitul MLA and State President Hemant Khandelwal, Jan Abhiyan Parishad Vice-President Mohan Nagar, senior officials of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, and scholars associated with the campaign. All attendees took a pledge to use indigenous products, and discussions were held on preparations for the upcoming “Swadeshi Jagran Week”.
