CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The annual festival “Indradhanush” was grandly organized at Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence, Lambakheda, along with the celebration of the institute’s silver jubilee, marking 25 years of establishment. The program commenced with Guru Puja, Saraswati Vandana, and a welcome song.
The Chief Guest of the event was Vishwas Sarang, Minister of Cooperatives, Sports, and Youth Welfare, and MLA. In his address, he extended his best wishes for the bright future of the students and praised Maharishi for spreading the Vedic tradition and culture in the field of education. He highlighted that the institute provides spiritual knowledge along with education. The event was also graced by the presence of District Education Officer Narendra Kumar Ahirwar as the Special Guest and Director P.K. Pathak, Aryanand Kumar, and the National Director’s Office Head as distinguished guests.
During the event, the school’s Principal, Mrs. Rekha Nimkar, presented the annual report. The program emphasized the tradition and culture of consciousness-based education initiated by Maharishi. Students performed various cultural dances, including puppet dance, Rajasthani, Gujarati Garba, Kathak, Bharatanatyam, and Shiv Tandav. Messages on water conservation, wildlife conservation, air preservation, cleanliness, unity in diversity, and the importance of yoga were conveyed.
The students also presented a play highlighting the significance of transcendental meditation, the importance of a guru, and the adverse effects of social media. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by senior teacher Mr. Naveen Kugshal for the successful execution of the event.
