CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Three-Day Induction Program Concludes at Sarojini Naidu Government Girls Postgraduate College, Bhopal

The three-day Deeksharambh (induction) program at Sarojini Naidu Government Girls Postgraduate College, Bhopal concluded with a grand ceremony. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the college principal, Dr. Deepti Srivastava. Newly admitted students and their parents were welcomed in traditional Indian style, with tilak and a shower of flower petals.

The principal addressed the students, introduced the academic staff from all faculties, and provided detailed information about the facilities available at the college.

On the second day, the program began with a training session on disaster management and safety conducted by the NDRF team. The students were also informed about the college library, autonomous cell, NCC, NSS, and college hostel facilities.

On the third day, students and their guardians were taken on a campus tour, where they were introduced to the college’s physical infrastructure. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) then provided an overview of the various sports, literary, creative, cultural, and academic activities conducted at the institution.

The closing ceremony of the induction program was graced by Additional Director Mathura Prasad and Dr. Bharti Kumbhare Satankar, Chairperson of the College’s Janbhagidari Committee, as chief guests. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Deepti Srivastava presented a detailed report of the three-day program’s activities.

Additional Director Prasad encouraged the new students to pursue quality education and become empowered women. Dr. Satankar, in her motivational address, also uplifted the spirits of the students with inspiring words.
