CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Delhi: The International School of Design (INSD) has received two national awards at the 15th National Education Excellence Conclave 2026, organised by the Centre for Education Growth and Research (CEGR) at Hotel Eros in New Delhi.
INSD was recognised with the “Best Design Institute in India 2026” award and the “India’s Most Promising Aviation Academy 2026” award for its new initiative, INSD Aviation. The awards were received by Pranav Raaj Aggarwall, Group CEO, International School of Design.
The Best Design Institute award recognises INSD’s focus on skill-based and industry-oriented design education. The institute offers programmes across areas including fashion design, interior design, graphic design, jewellery design, animation and VFX, UI/UX, textile design, photography, beauty and makeup, and luxury education. Its educational model includes practical exposure, live projects, internships, portfolio development and career support.
The second award recognises INSD Aviation, through which the institution has expanded its skill-focused education model into aviation and related service sectors. The initiative covers areas such as air hostess training, business-class cabin crew training, hospitality, travel, retail and customer support.
According to the institute, INSD currently has more than 75 centres across 23 states and has trained over 30,000 students. Its career ecosystem includes more than 500 industry recruiters and placement partners.
The 15th National Education Excellence Conclave brought together representatives from the education, skilling and public policy sectors. The latest recognitions add to INSD’s previous awards for its contribution to design education and skill development.
