CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In the Bhopal Division of West Central Railway, Member (Operations and Business Development), Railway Board, Hitendra Malhotra conducted a detailed inspection of passenger facilities at Bhopal, Rani Kamalapati, Nishatpura, and Mandideep railway stations. The inspection was carried out in the presence of Principal Chief Operations Manager / Principal Chief Commercial Manager Kushal Singh, Divisional Railway Manager Pankaj Tyagi, and other concerned officials. During the visit, they closely examined passenger amenities, security management, station development, cleanliness, ongoing project works, and operational arrangements at the divisional level.

During the inspection, they reviewed technical aspects related to platforms, waiting halls, ticket counters, escalators/lifts, drinking water facilities, passenger information systems, toilets, parking areas, and train operations. The officials were instructed to prioritize actions for further improvement of passenger facilities.

Malhotra also held a review meeting in the office auditorium to assess the progress of ongoing construction and modernization works in the Bhopal Division. He emphasized the need for timely execution and high-quality work, adherence to safety standards, proper functioning of employees, and comprehensive updates on development projects.
