CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress / ITDC News Bhopal: A detailed review of various matters related to district revenue administration was conducted during the Revenue Officers’ Review Meeting (RO Meeting) held on Thursday at the Collectorate Conference Hall under the chairmanship of Collector Priyank Mishra. Collector Mishra directed that all pending cases related to land allotment and occupancy rights should be resolved within the next one month. He also instructed officials to launch a special campaign for the speedy disposal of pending cases in revenue courts.

During the meeting, the Collector directed strict action against illegal colonies and instructed officials to conduct a detailed examination of complaints related to both authorized and unauthorized colonies and prepare factual reports accordingly. He directed the Colony Cell to coordinate with the Municipal Corporation and concerned SDMs to ensure necessary action in their respective areas. He also emphasized timely police action in pending cases wherever required.

Reviewing cases related to mutation, partition, demarcation, RCMS, and matters registered on the Public Service Management Portal, Collector Mishra instructed that all demarcation cases pending for more than three months must be mandatorily resolved within the next month. He stated that timely and transparent revenue services remain the administration’s top priority.

While reviewing revenue recovery, the Collector directed officials to ensure 100 percent recovery of land revenue, mineral revenue, and other government dues. He emphasized prioritizing map rectification, correction of errors in land records, and updating official documents to reduce land-related disputes.

Collector Mishra also reviewed cases related to the CM Helpline, IGRS Portal, public grievance hearings, Collector Login, and CS Monitoring matters. Expressing displeasure over unsatisfactory progress, he instructed all officials to ensure quality-based and timely resolution of complaints, stating that prompt redressal of citizens’ grievances is the administration’s highest priority.

He directed all Additional District Magistrates (ADMs) and Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) to prepare inspection rosters for regular monitoring of Tehsildar courts and ensure proper implementation of passed orders. He further instructed that compliance of all pending orders must be ensured within one month.

Keeping the upcoming monsoon season in view, Collector Mishra also directed officials to conduct regular inspections related to encroachments, fire safety measures, firecracker shops, and warehouses. He further instructed departments associated with disaster management to organize section-level meetings and ensure all necessary preparedness measures.

The meeting was attended by Additional Collectors Sumit Kumar Pandey, Prakash Nayak, Ankur Meshram, P. C. Shakya, along with all SDMs, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, SLR officials, and officers from related departments of the district.
