CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A grand two-day Inter-College Literary Festival, Fest Literario 4.0, was organized by the Language Department at Sant Hirdaram Girls’ College, Bhopal. The festival proved to be a vibrant and inspiring platform for literature, creativity, and youthful thinking.
On the first day of the festival, engaging events such as poetry recitation, story narration, and a scavenger hunt were successfully organized. Poetry competition judge Rajeev Mishra praised the creativity of the participants and appreciated the college’s initiative to celebrate life through literature.

Principal Dr. Dalima Parwani encouraged the students to develop a regular reading habit and to continuously refine their abilities. She said that the true understanding of literature emerges only when it is read with devotion. Students from renowned institutions like BSSS, IIPS, SISTec, and LNCT enthusiastically participated in various competitions, making the first day energetic and filled with literary excitement.
The second day began with a powerful and thought-provoking Youth Parliament, in which participants from various colleges and schools— including Mittii Gobindram Public School, BSSS, IIPS, Sarojini Naidu College, Excellence, and JLU—effectively played the roles of the ruling and opposition parties. The session was skillfully moderated by Speaker Virendra Gurjar, who declared the presented bill passed.

This was followed by a Character Ramp Walk, where students brought popular literary and fictional characters such as Harry Potter, Cinderella, and The Vampire to life, elevating the festival’s creative spirit to its peak. On the occasion of Children’s Day, the principal and faculty members also participated in the ramp walk, adding more joy to the event.
The festival concluded with a grand valedictory ceremony, where the winners of all competitions held over the two days were felicitated. Carrying forward the joy of Children’s Day, a dance party was organized for the students, bringing the festival to a delightful and celebratory end.

Principal Dr. Dalima Parwani congratulated the Literary Committee for the excellent organization and smooth execution of the festival. She appreciated the department’s ongoing efforts to promote literary culture, creativity, and intellectual development.
