International Commerce Day Celebrated at Sarojini Naidu College

On the occasion of International Commerce Day, a special event was organized by the Department of Commerce at Sarojini Naidu College. The program commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the college principal.

Present at the event were Dean of the Commerce Department Renuka Rana, Administrative Officer Ashok Nema, and faculty members from the department. In his address, Administrative Officer Ashok Nema highlighted the importance of Indian knowledge systems in commerce and the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern business practices.

Continuing the discussion, the Principal encouraged students to improve their career prospects by effectively utilizing AI (Artificial Intelligence).

To mark the day, several competitions were also held.

In the Poster Competition on the theme “Digital Transformation in Commerce”, the winners were:

Second Prize: Ankita Satnani

Third Prize: Khushi Rathore

A Debate Competition was also organized on the topic “Artificial Intelligence: In Favor and Against”, with the following winners:

Second Prize: Kritika Thakur

Third Prize: Khushi Tiwari

Against:

First Prize: Khushi Rathore

Second Prize: Mehak Sahu

Third Prize: Anushruti Agnihotri

Judges for the competitions were Pramod Chaturvedi, Chhaya Chandravanshi, and D.P. Rohit, who fulfilled their responsibilities commendably.

Valuable insights were also shared by Surendra Vihari Goswami and Pramod Chaturvedi during their addresses.

The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of students.
