CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The closing ceremony of the “10th International Herbal Fair” was held at Lal Parade Ground, Bhopal. The event was presided over by Vishvas Kailash Sarang, Minister for Cooperation, Sports, and Youth Welfare. He congratulated and extended his best wishes to the Forest Department and the MP State Minor Forest Produce (Trade and Development) Cooperative Federation for the successful organization of the event.

The fair was based on the theme of “Women Empowerment through Minor Forest Produce.” Various stalls showcasing forest produce and herbal medicines were visited during the ceremony. Additionally, a commemorative souvenir and the Anubhuti booklet were unveiled. Participants excelling in the fair were awarded, including district unions, government and private stalls, Van Dhan Kendras, and stalls set up by Ayurvedic colleges.

The closing ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Bhopal Mayor Malti Rai, Additional Chief Secretary of Forests Ashok Varnwal, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Aseem Srivastava, and Managing Director of MP State Minor Forest Produce Cooperative Federation Vibhash Kumar Thakur, along with departmental officials.
