CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: With the aim of highlighting the role of museums as vehicles of education and research in a technology-driven society, the Regional Science Centre celebrated International Museum Day in collaboration with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Bhopal Circle, and the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS), Bhopal.

As part of the celebration, an exhibition was organized within the Centre’s premises showcasing rare cave paintings and rock art excavated from Bhimbetka and other archaeological sites in Madhya Pradesh, along with a display corner featuring rare prehistoric tool specimens.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Professor Amitabh Pandey, Director of IGRMS, in the esteemed presence of Dr. Manoj Kumar Kurmi, Superintending Archaeologist, ASI Bhopal Circle. Additionally, a sky observation program using telescopes was conducted at IGRMS (the Museum of Mankind).

A total of 100 visitors, including students, teachers, and members of the general public, attended the inaugural event.
