CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Regional Science Centre, Bhopal to Celebrate International Museum Day on May 18, 2025
With the objective of highlighting the role of museums as tools for education and research in this technology-driven society, the Regional Science Centre, Bhopal will celebrate International Museum Day on May 18, 2025, in collaboration with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Bhopal Circle, and the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS), Bhopal.
As part of the celebration, a special exhibition will be organized at the centre featuring rare cave paintings excavated from the Bhimbetka archaeological site and prehistoric tools unearthed from various archaeological sites across Madhya Pradesh.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Dr. Amitabh Pandey, Director of IGRMS, Bhopal, on May 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
On this day, entry to the centre and exhibition will be free for all visitors, although standard charges will apply to other premium facilities. Additionally, a Sky Observation Program using telescopes will be held at the IGRMS campus between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
All are cordially invited to participate in the celebrations and explore the significance of museums in modern education and research.
