CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: IIIT Bhopal and ADLINK Organize International Student Immersion Program

The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bhopal, in collaboration with ADLINK Study Abroad, organized a three-hour International Student Immersion Program. This event facilitated a unique academic and cultural exchange between Indian professors and students from leading universities in the United States.

Centered on the theme “The Changing Face and Impact of Indian Education,” the program offered students from diverse backgrounds and ideologies a closer insight into India’s growing importance as an emerging global education hub.

The students participating in this immersion program came from prestigious American institutions including the University of Florida, Ohio University, Corban University, and the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. These students, pursuing fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Biochemistry, Education, Criminal Justice, Psychology, and Agricultural Business, engaged in open discussions with IIIT Bhopal faculty.

The event, held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, highlighted the importance of academic collaboration between India and the USA, innovation-driven approaches in higher education, and cross-cultural learning.

Ajay Srivastava, Training and Placement Officer at IIIT Bhopal, stated in his inaugural address:

“Today, India stands at the threshold of becoming a global center for interdisciplinary learning and innovation. This immersion program is not merely a showcase of our institute or educational model but an attempt to build bridges between nations through education — the most powerful path to global transformation.”

He also introduced IIIT Bhopal, highlighting its achievements, efforts in delivering quality education, and the successful outcomes achieved by its Training and Placement Cell.

Assistant Professor Gaurav Khanna from the Department of Information Technology at IIIT Bhopal said:

“Through such dialogues, we exchange not just knowledge but also values, educational quality, and ideas about global collaboration.”

The program was supported by ADLINK Study Abroad — a reputed international education consultancy operating in Bhopal, Indore, and Mumbai, known for its ethical, knowledge-based, and student-centered approach.

Ilia Menzies, Student Exchange Coordinator at ADLINK, remarked:

“We believe in meaningful and ethical global experiences. This program is a strong step toward helping American students see India not just as a cultural destination, but as a serious and inspiring academic partner.”

Abha Chaudharkar, Head of Counseling at ADLINK, said:

“True global education is not merely a path to a goal but a journey to understand perspectives. Immersion programs like this allow students to directly experience how India is not only embracing global standards but also setting new benchmarks through innovation, values, and academic depth.”

The event concluded with a group interaction and networking session, generating fresh enthusiasm among students and professors for future collaborations.
