CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: An international symposium focused on empowering Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the context of future skills and emerging technologies was inaugurated by NITTTR Bhopal and CPSC Manila. The symposium aimed to integrate emerging technology and future-ready skills into vocational education, with representatives from various countries in attendance. Program coordinator Rajesh Khambayat highlighted the importance of enhancing TVET systems to meet the growing need for digital literacy and technical skills in the global workforce.

The chief guest, Vice-Chancellor Sanjay Tiwari of Bhoj University, emphasized skills required to meet the demands of a technology-driven world, stating, “Innovation inspires us to live today and hope for tomorrow.” CPSC Director-General S.K. Dhameja discussed the emerging landscape of global skills development and the need for educational systems to adapt swiftly.

NITTTR Bhopal Director C.C. Tripathi spoke on TVET’s role in building a global workforce for the future and delivered a lecture on the “Smart Readiness Index and IR 4.0.” Dr. Dheeraj Kumar discussed “Academic Activities in a Changing Landscape,” while Director Rajeev Agarwal presented a special lecture on “Industry Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement,” emphasizing the importance of strong partnerships between educational institutions and industries.

The closing address was given by Prof. Sanjay Agarwal. The event also provided valuable opportunities for networking and collaboration, where representatives discussed potential partnerships and shared ideas to address the challenges facing TVET in a rapidly changing world.
