CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the 10th anniversary of International Yoga Day, various activities are being organized across the country by the National Institute of Naturopathy, Pune, under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, to make yoga appealing, interesting, accessible, and enchanting for all. As part of this initiative, Sant Hirdaram Medical College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences for Women has been entrusted with the responsibility of organizing various programs specifically for the youth.

Under the “Yoga Unplugged” activity, the college is conducting several youth-centric programs, including video creation (reels) related to yoga, group yoga demonstrations such as Yoga Pyramids and Musical Yoga, as well as an online essay competition on the topic “Healing the Body-Mind-Soul through Yoga.”

In addition, on June 13, 2025, the Common Yoga Protocol session will be held at Mithi Gobindram Public School, with the participation of around 300 girl students.

On June 14, 2025, colorful cultural performances based on yoga will be presented in the grand auditorium of the college.

On June 16, 2025, a special workshop focused on yoga and meditation will be conducted for students by Prof. Varun Malhotra from AIIMS Bhopal. On the same day, a Rangoli and Poster Competition will also be organized for the students. Additionally, a quiz competition to test students’ knowledge of yoga will be held on June 14.

Professor Ankesh Singh, the Principal of the college, has called for enthusiastic participation from youth and the general public in these events.
