CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of International Yoga Day 2025, a special program titled ‘Yoga Sangam’ was organized jointly by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Bhopal, the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Bhopal, and the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Bhopal at the SAI Bhopal Campus.

In this program, Narayan Singh Manhas, a Yoga Asana Sports Coach, conducted yoga practice sessions for over 300 officials, employees, and athletes from PIB, CBC, and SAI under the Common Yoga Protocol.

The Chief Guest of the event, Additional Director General of PIB and CBC Bhopal, Mr. Prashant Pathrabe, emphasized that yoga is highly beneficial for both mental and physical health. He urged everyone to incorporate yoga into their daily routine, saying:

“Practice yoga daily and stay healthy.”

Mr. Shariq Noor, Deputy Director of CBC Bhopal, stated that this year’s theme for International Yoga Day is “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.” He underlined the importance of yoga in our lives, describing it as the key to good health.

During the session, Yoga Coach Narayan Singh Manhas guided participants through various yoga postures such as Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Pawanmuktasana, Ushtrasana, Vajrasana, Bhujangasana, and Shavasana. He also led breathing exercises like Kapalbhati, Anulom-Vilom, and Bhramari Pranayama.

The event also featured a beautiful musical yoga performance by Anu Malik, based on yoga themes.

Players who have brought glory to the country and abroad — including Prabhat Kumar, Ranjita Kureti, Shakeel, Khushboo Khan, and Roopani Kumari — were honored by Mr. Prashant Pathrabe on behalf of PIB and CBC.

Deepak Sabu, Deputy Director of SAI Bhopal, and Anshika Jain, Assistant Director, also participated in the yoga session.

The event also saw active participation from Sameer Verma, Assistant Director (CBC & PIB); Ajay Upadhyay, Assistant Director (PIB); Karishma Pant, Assistant Director (CBC); and Prem Chandra Gupta, Media & Communication Officer (PIB), all of whom joined the yoga practice.
