CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Regional Science Centre, Bhopal celebrated International Yoga Day by organizing a series of programs for students and the general public.
As part of the celebration, a live broadcast of the national-level event from Visakhapatnam—featuring an address to the nation by the Hon’ble Prime Minister and a demonstration yoga session—was streamed at the Centre.
Following this, an online yoga session was organized by Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai in collaboration with the renowned yoga organization The Art of Living.
All staff members of Regional Science Centre, Bhopal actively participated in both of these sessions.
In addition, a live yoga session was conducted within the Centre’s premises for students and teachers under the guidance of a professional yoga expert.
A film on yoga was also screened to enhance awareness and understanding of the practice.
On this occasion, a visual yoga quiz competition was conducted for the students. All meritorious participants of the quiz will be awarded prizes and certificates.
A total of 130 participants took part in these various programs.
