CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Science Communication Center at Rabindranath Tagore University organized International Youth Day. This year’s theme was “From Clicks to Progress: Youth’s Digital Pathway for Sustainable Development.” The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Head of the Internet of Things and Advanced Computing at Rabindranath Tagore University, who delivered a presentation.

In his workshop, Dr. Rakesh Kumar provided detailed information about the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and emphasized the critical role the younger generation can play in achieving these goals. He encouraged the youth to work towards sustainable development through digital technology and explained how digital skills, when used correctly, can benefit society and the environment.

During the event, students and young participants actively engaged in discussions on various aspects of sustainable development. The event inspired the youth to enhance their digital skills and utilize them for the progress of society. Students from the university’s Law, Science, and Arts departments participated enthusiastically.

The event was organized by Dr. Prabal Rai, Director of the Science Communication Center, who presented a memento to Dr. Rakesh as a token of appreciation.
