CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Udaipura Constituency MLA and Minister of State for Public Health and Medical Education in the Madhya Pradesh government, Narendra Shivaji Patel, has launched a new initiative for the youth called “Internship with Narendra Shivaji Patel”. Approximately 600 people applied for the program, out of which 30 youths were selected for the first batch. All applicants were given an initial task, and those who completed it were selected through an online interview. A workshop with the selected youths was held on Tuesday at Minister Narendra Shivaji Patel’s office in Bhopal, where they received training related to internship tasks.
It is noteworthy that under the internship, youths from the Udaipura constituency will be provided with training at various levels, offering them work opportunities. This aims to develop leadership skills in social, practical, and political spheres.
The first batch of the internship will run from Deendayal Upadhyay’s birth anniversary to Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary.
In the first batch of “Internship with Narendra Shivaji Patel,” 5 young women and 25 young men have been selected. This internship will last for three months, starting on the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and concluding on the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The selected youths will serve as NSP Ambassadors in their respective Gram Panchayats.
Additional incentive of INR 6,000 for excellent work; one-year insurance for all selected candidates.
Selected candidates will receive a stipend of INR 3,000 in the first month, INR 4,000 in the second month, and INR 5,000 in the third month, totaling INR 12,000. Additionally, those who perform exceptionally well during the internship will receive an additional incentive of INR 6,000. During Tuesday’s workshop, Minister Patel also announced one-year insurance coverage for all 30 selected candidates.
While addressing the youths at the workshop, Minister Narendra Shivaji Patel said, “This is a historic moment, as for the first time, a plan has been initiated to provide leadership opportunities to the youth of Udaipura. When I was in college, I wished there had been a program where I could closely understand political activities and processes, but at that time, no such program existed. Through this initiative, selected youths will gain leadership experience not only in politics but also on social and practical levels. These youths will determine the future vision of the Udaipura constituency. Minister Patel further added, “On August 15th, Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced from the Red Fort that we will provide leadership opportunities to 100,000 non-political youths and bring them into politics. Following his vision, this initiative has been launched to prepare youths with leadership potential.”
