While interacting with the newly admitted M.Sc. students, Executive Professor Ajay Singh highlighted the importance of the program, stating, ‘The M.Sc. course in Translational Medicine will advance medical education and research. This program will prepare future professionals who will drive innovation and translate research findings into real healthcare improvements.’ He also emphasized the need to provide an appropriate ecosystem for research. ‘AIIMS is dedicated not only to creating skilled researchers but also to fostering visionaries who can translate their work into real-world medical advancements,’ Professor Singh said.

Dr. Rupinder Kaur Kanwar, Head of the Department of Translational Medicine, explained the course, saying, ‘Our curriculum offers students a comprehensive understanding of the translational research process. Our goal is to produce proficient professionals who can bridge the gap between the bench and bedside and ultimately contribute to improving patient care.’
