CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The leading institution in higher education and skill development in India, ISECT, in collaboration with Rabindranath Tagore University and Scope Global Skills University, has launched the “Artificial Intelligence Literacy Mission.” The program was held at the SGSU campus and commenced with the release of the book “Artificial Intelligence – Not Artificial, But a Real Revolution” by author Santosh Shukla in the presence of ISECT Chairman Santosh Chaubey, along with the unveiling of the mission’s poster. The event was also attended by Vice-Chancellor Vijay Singh, Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha, cyber expert Raghu Pandey, and ISECT Publication Head Jyoti Raghuvanshi.
Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Chancellor of Scope University, stated in his address that “Artificial Intelligence is the language of the future, and we must ensure that every young person in India understands this language and uses it for their career development and nation-building.” He mentioned that this mission aligns with the Skill India Mission and NITI Aayog’s Developed India 2047 vision.
Santosh Chaubey said that the mission aims to train 10 million youth in AI education, research, and entrepreneurship by 2030. He also announced the creation of an AI literature database. Prof. Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Pro-Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, remarked that this initiative will empower young people with new technologies and bring transformative changes in education.
Under the mission, “Skill Rath” (Skill Chariots) will travel to villages across the country to familiarize youth with AI, AR, and VR technologies. These chariots will host demonstrations, career counseling sessions, and free seminars. Additionally, all ISECT Skill Knowledge Providers and franchise centers will conduct free AI training seminars, ensuring equal access to AI education for both rural and urban youth.
