CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The country’s leading organization in skill development and higher education, AISECT, is organizing the Skill Development Journey 2025 and Vishwarang Book Journey 2025. These journeys will reach 500 schools, colleges, and educational institutions across 300 districts in 20 states, introducing millions of students, youth, and teachers to skill development and the latest technologies. At the same time, the Vishwarang Book Journey will reach cities and villages, connecting young people with books and promoting a culture of reading.

Launching both journeys, Mr. Santosh Choubey, Chairman of the AISECT Group and Director of Vishwarang, said that skill development is the greatest need of the present time. The AISECT Group has long been organizing skill development journeys across the country. This year marks the 12th edition of the Skill Development Journey. Reading is also a skill, he added. To ignite the culture of reading, the universities of the AISECT Group organize book journeys in remote areas. This year, the Skill Development Journey and Vishwarang Book Journey are being launched together. In Madhya Pradesh, the journeys will follow 8 routes, covering all 55 districts.

Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Chancellor of Scope Global Skills University, stated that the campaign will reach villages and cities through specially designed “Skill Rath” vehicles. The main highlight of this year’s journey is the AI Literacy Mission. These vehicles will provide material and information related to future technologies such as AI and AR/VR. During the journey, free AI seminars, workshops, career counseling sessions, and technical exhibitions will also be conducted.

At the event, prominent attendees included Vijay Singh, Chancellor of Scope Global Skills University; Sitesh Kumar Sinha, Registrar; and Rajesh Panda, Head of ISECT Network. Through this journey, AISECT aims to train students, teachers, and skill knowledge providers in future skills, connect communities through free seminars and workshops, strengthen institutional networks by collaborating with schools and colleges, and prepare student groups to identify future training requirements.

During the journey, information about over 250 diploma and certificate courses offered in partnership with AISECT-NSDC will be provided. These include computer and IT courses, future skills, electronics and hardware, banking and finance, teacher training, agriculture-based courses, and employment-oriented subjects such as retail. Through these programs, AISECT is providing training to youth and connecting them with employment opportunities.

At each stop of the journey, seminars and workshops will be held, where subject experts will guide students on the importance of AI, the role of skill development, and career opportunities. Chief guests and educationists will also participate in these programs. Participants will include students, youth, job seekers, educators, and intellectuals.

After the journey, free seminars and on-the-spot counseling will be conducted for one week at various AISECT centers in the city, so that students and youth who could not attend the journey can also benefit.
