CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Amid the Navratri festivities, Isha Ambani’s traditional look and garba dance have become a talking point on social media. On October 10, the Ambani family organised a “Devi Shakti” programme in Mumbai to mark the first anniversary of its brand “Swadesh” and the occasion of Navratri. At the event, Isha Ambani was seen performing garba with devotion alongside her mother, Nita Ambani. A video of the two is drawing attention on social media.
During the programme, Isha Ambani performed garba with guests to the tune of the bhajan “Kaal ke panje se Mata bachao, Jai Maa Asht Bhavani”. She was seen in a colourful, heavily embroidered lehenga-choli. Motifs of Radha-Krishna were crafted on her lehenga and blouse, reflecting traditional Indian craftsmanship.
Isha completed her look with a necklace adorned with colourful stones, heavy jhumkas, bangles and a ring. A gajra in her hair and a small bindi on her forehead added to her traditional appearance. With light makeup, her style appeared to blend traditional and modern elements.
Nita Ambani was also seen in a traditional Banarasi sari at the event organised to mark the first anniversary of “Swadesh”, which celebrated Indian culture and craftsmanship. Indian art, handicrafts and cultural heritage were prominently showcased at the programme. Several film industry personalities also attended the ceremony.
