Actress Isha Rikhi and Badshah decided to separate nearly five months after their wedding. Now, Isha Rikhi has spoken openly for the first time about the relationship and the divorce. She said she has a lot to say, but does not want to turn her private life into a public spectacle.
“Yes, we have separated.” In a conversation with ETimes, Isha Rikhi clearly said that she and Badshah have separated. However, she refused to explain in detail the reason behind the end of the relationship. Isha said these are now matters of her past and she does not want to bring disputes from her home before the world. She described the current equation between the two as “very complicated.”
“I do not want to make a spectacle of my life.” Isha said she is waiting for the day when she can speak about the entire matter without fear. For now, she described it as a battle she is still going through. She said the past year had been very difficult for her. According to Isha, during the relationship she tried to save a person and to keep her relationship intact. She also questioned why a private issue between two people should be turned into public drama.
Why was the marriage kept secret? Isha Rikhi said she did not make her marriage with Badshah public for a long time because she did not want her personal life to become part of gossip. She had not posted the wedding pictures herself either. Her mother shared the photographs on social media, after which news of the two being married came out.
“I have been cheated.” During the conversation, when Isha was asked whether she felt cheated in the relationship, she said she would not call it merely “feeling cheated”; rather, she said she had been cheated. However, she did not publicly share the full reason behind the statement or make any detailed allegation against any person.
Badshah’s second marriage. Before Isha Rikhi, Badshah was married to Jasmine Masih. The two married in 2012 and have a daughter. Their relationship later broke down and their divorce was finalised in 2020. After that, Badshah and Jasmine continued co-parenting their daughter. Isha Rikhi and Badshah married in a private ceremony in March 2026. In June, Isha confirmed her marriage with Badshah on social media. At the end of August, the two shared that they had separated with mutual consent and respect, and appealed to people to respect their privacy.
