The box office contest among films continued on Wednesday. Rajinikanth’s film Jailer 2 maintained its dominance, while Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s Ranabali moved ahead of Drishyam 3 in daily earnings. At the same time, Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s film Udta Teer also drew audiences and posted good earnings. According to early box office estimates for October 28, collections across different films saw fluctuations.
Jailer 2 again secured the top position: Rajinikanth-starrer Jailer 2 remained ahead at the box office on Wednesday. The film collected around Rs 6.55 crore net in India on October 28. The film is receiving audience support and has posted strong domestic box office earnings since its release. Along with Rajinikanth, the film also features Vidya Balan, Hrithik Roshan and Mohanlal.
Ranabali earned more than Drishyam 3: Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s film Ranabali collected around Rs 1.03 crore net on Wednesday. Its domestic net collection reached about Rs 56.38 crore. On the other hand, Ajay Devgn-starrer Drishyam 3 earned around Rs 90 lakh on Wednesday. The film’s total domestic earnings were reported at around Rs 372 crore. In this way, Ranabali led in Wednesday’s daily earnings, though Drishyam 3 remains far ahead in overall collection.
Udta Teer surprised with its earnings: Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s film Udta Teer collected around Rs 2.65 crore domestic net on Wednesday. The film’s total net earnings in India reached about Rs 28.65 crore, while its worldwide business was reported at around Rs 42.68 crore. The film received more than 5,700 shows on Wednesday. Its earnings showed improvement compared with the initial days.
The contest among films continues at the box office: Wednesday’s figures show that Jailer 2 continues to lead in both total business and daily earnings, while Udta Teer is also trying to strengthen its hold. Ranabali moved ahead of Drishyam 3 in daily earnings, but there is a large gap between the two films’ total collections. These figures are early estimates and final collections may change.
