CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The much-awaited Railway Over Bridge (ROB) in the Civil Lines area of Jaipur is set to open in July, promising significant relief from persistent traffic congestion. The project, undertaken by local authorities in coordination with railway and urban development agencies, aims to streamline vehicular movement in one of the city’s busiest corridors.

The Civil Lines ROB is expected to reduce waiting time at railway crossings, where long queues of vehicles often lead to delays and increased fuel consumption. Once operational, the bridge will provide uninterrupted connectivity, easing daily commutes for thousands of residents and office-goers.

Officials have stated that final construction work, safety checks, and finishing touches are currently underway to ensure the bridge meets all structural and operational standards. The project is part of a broader effort to upgrade urban infrastructure and improve traffic management in Jaipur.

The new ROB is also expected to enhance road safety by minimizing the risk of accidents near railway tracks. Additionally, it will contribute to reducing air pollution caused by idling vehicles. The initiative reflects the government’s focus on sustainable urban mobility and efficient transport solutions in rapidly growing cities like Jaipur.
