CNN Central News & Network – ITDC India E-Press / ITDC News Bhopal: In Berasia block of Bhopal district, the Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad initiated the first phase of the Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign at Janpad Panchayat Berasia. The program commenced at the Mataji Temple premises in Gram Panchayat Tarawali Kalan with tree worship and a discussion on action plans for the conservation and enhancement of water structures, aiming to conserve every drop of water. District Coordinator Kokila Chaturvedi was also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Kokila Chaturvedi administered a pledge for water conservation to the members and encouraged them to set an example by contributing voluntary labor (shramdaan) for the restoration of rivers, ponds, and local water structures in the future.

During the program, in the presence of Berasia Block Coordinator Tina Sharma, a ceremonial aarti was performed on the banks of the Beha River.
On this occasion, Alok Dangi, Secretary of Sumantara Educational Welfare Committee; Sector 05 Advisor Jitendra Kushwaha; Prasphutan Committee Tarawali President Pradeep Malviya; along with Rashmi Kushwaha (Dharamara), Kuber Singh Kushwaha (Kutkipura), Sunita Kushwaha and Charan Singh Kushwaha (Nalkheda), ASHA worker Sudha Rajput, and other members actively participated in the program.
