CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The orientation training program for newly appointed Chief Executive Officers (Janpad Panchayat) and Block Development Officers concluded today at the Madhya Pradesh Water and Land Management Institute in Bhopal. Panchayat & Rural Development and Labour Minister Prahlad Singh Patel attended the समारोह as the chief guest.
Addressing the program, Minister Patel directly interacted with the newly appointed officers and advised them to work in a way over the next three years that brings them personal satisfaction. He stated that their self-satisfaction would be the true measure of how much positive change they bring to the lives of common people.
The minister discussed with the officers their areas of work, future plans, and challenges, and encouraged them to maintain continuous communication. He emphasized that dialogue inspires better performance and brings transparency and effectiveness in administrative functioning.
He further added that while it is positive to believe that one can accomplish all tasks, better results are achieved when work is aligned with one’s interest and capability. He stressed that every task should be carried out with a clear goal, strong planning, and teamwork to ensure success.
On this occasion, the newly appointed officers shared their experiences from the training period. They mentioned that the 45-day training program helped them understand administrative systems, observe various sectors, and gain practical insights into ground-level functioning. During the training, they also visited different locations, which helped them understand upcoming challenges and plan their work accordingly.
At the closing ceremony, Minister Patel felicitated all the newly appointed officers and extended his best wishes for their bright future. Additional Chief Secretary of the Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Deepali Rastogi, along with other senior officials, was also present at the event.
