CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : Online applications are now available for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Lateral Entry Exam 2026 for admission to Class IX and XI.
For Class IX admission, eligible students are those studying in Class VIII during the 2025-26 academic session in a government or government-recognized school and whose date of birth falls between 1st May 2011 and 31st July 2013.
For Class XI admission, eligible students are those studying in Class X during the 2025-26 academic session in a government or government-recognized school and whose date of birth falls between 1st June 2009 and 31st July 2011.
The schools provide students with free education, boarding, lodging, uniforms, textbooks, and daily essentials. Additionally, under the modern education system, students have access to computers, internet, and smart classrooms with all related facilities.
The selection exam will be conducted on 7th February 2026. Applications for the selection exam are to be submitted online only. Students applying for Class IX can fill the form at: https://cbseitms.nic.in/2025/nvsix9 and for Class XI at: https://cbseitms.nic.in/2025/nvsxi_11.
