CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Patna / Khagaria: The 134th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna and architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence on Monday at the Karpoori Auditorium of the JD(U) office located on Ambedkar Path in the city. The event was presided over by JD(U) District President Bablu Kumar Mandal.

The ceremony began with floral tributes and garlanding of Baba Saheb’s portrait. Following this, the newly appointed Bissutri Block Presidents and members were honored with garlands.

In his presidential address, Bablu Mandal said, “Baba Saheb is a beacon of modern India. By embracing his principles, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is leading Bihar on the path of ‘development with justice’. The Bissutri Committee formed by JD(U) is also a strong example of social justice, adhering to the constitutional reservation roster.”

JD(U) leader Anuradha Kumari Kushwaha said, “If it weren’t for Baba Saheb, values like secularism, social justice, and equality would not be part of our Constitution. He gave us the right to think, speak, and move forward.”

Spokesperson Acharya Rakesh Paswan Shastri and District Treasurer Sandeep Kedia stated that Baba Saheb was not just the architect of the Constitution, but also an eternal source of inspiration for humanity. His life of struggle and principles continue to guide us all.

Hundreds of JD(U) workers, office bearers, and citizens participated in the program. Prominent attendees included Sunil Kumar (son of former CM Satish Prasad), Umesh Singh Patel, Neelam Verma, Anil Jaiswal, Dr. Vidyanand Das, Subodh Yadav, Sawan Kumar Bunty, Anuj Kumar Sharma, Md. Firdos Alam, Md. Nasir Iqbal, Sanjay Singh (Pappu Dev), Pankaj Kumar Chaudhary, Manoj Kumar Singh, Kamal Kishore Patel, Purushottam Agarwal, Raju Gupta, Prabhakar Chaudhary (Mantoon), Parvati Devi, Bobby Gandhi, and several block presidents and workers.

Special contributions to the success of the program were made by District President of the Technical Cell Vinay Singh Roshan, Municipal Executive President Prabhat Sharma, Neelkamal Patel, Rajeev Kumar Thakur, Naresh Kumar, and Mantoon Mishra. The event concluded with a collective oath to follow Baba Saheb’s ideals.
