CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: State Congress President Jeetu Patwari attended the inauguration and statue unveiling ceremony of the Samadhi Mandir of the late Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati at Jhoteshwar Shridham in Narsinghpur district. During the visit, Patwari sought blessings and gained spiritual merit. He also experienced a new wave of spiritual awakening in the presence of the revered Jyotishpeethadhishwar Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, describing it as a profound fortune to have his holy darshan.

During his visit to Narsinghpur, Patwari addressed farmers and citizens at Chhoti Tawa. He criticized the BJP for failing to deliver on its promises made in the 2023 assembly election manifesto under “Modi Guarantee.” He stated that despite grand assurances to farmers, women, and youth, no promises have been fulfilled even after a year. Patwari highlighted that BJP’s pledges, such as doubling farmers’ income, making farming profitable, providing minimum support prices (MSP) of ₹3,100 for paddy, ₹2,700 for wheat, and ₹6,000 for soybeans, as well as giving ₹3,000 per month to women and providing jobs to the youth, remained unfulfilled and only on paper.

Patwari urged people to join the Congress-led statewide assembly gherao on December 16 to raise their voices for the rights of farmers, women, and youth and to awaken the dormant government.

On this occasion at Jhoteshwar Shridham, Jeetu Patwari was accompanied by former MP Rameshwar Neekhra, former Assembly Speaker N.P. Prajapati, All India Congress Secretary Kunal Choudhary, MLAs Rajneesh Singh, Sanjay Sharma, Narendra Rajput, Vikram Mastal, and other Congress members.
