Several players from Jharkhand are part of the East Zone team, and their performances in the tournament have become a major talking point. East Zone is being captained by Jharkhand’s star wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan.
In the Duleep Trophy final, young Jharkhand batter Shikhar Mohan drew attention by scoring a fine 85 runs on his debut.
