Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee President Jitu Patwari criticized Amit Shah’s comments about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar made in the Lok Sabha. Patwari stated that Dr. Ambedkar is a hero of the nation, revered by all citizens, and no Indian can tolerate any insult to him. He highlighted that Dr. Ambedkar gave India its Constitution, envisioned an egalitarian society, and fostered a culture of unity and coexistence. Criticizing such a towering figure with immense contributions to the nation is deeply unfortunate, Patwari remarked.
Patwari further accused the BJP of revealing its anti-Dalit stance. He alleged that Dalits are subjected to atrocities and their rights are neglected wherever BJP is in power, including Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and across the country. He stated that this incident has exposed the BJP’s real face. Patwari demanded that Amit Shah apologize to the nation in the Lok Sabha for his remarks about Dr. Ambedkar.
