CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha recently conducted a comprehensive review of the arrangements for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, emphasizing the importance of improved facilities and safety measures for pilgrims. The review meeting involved key administrative and security officials, who briefed the LG on the current preparations and logistics being implemented along the yatra route.
Sinha stressed the need for seamless coordination between various departments to ensure a hassle-free and secure pilgrimage experience. He directed that special focus be given to sanitation, accommodation, medical aid, transportation, and communication infrastructure. Efforts are also being made to deploy adequate personnel and set up health centers along the trek.
This year’s Amarnath Yatra is expected to witness a large number of devotees, and the government aims to enhance the overall experience by ensuring modern amenities and responsive services. The LG reiterated that the safety, dignity, and spiritual environment for pilgrims must remain the highest priority.
