CNN Central News & Networks / ITDC India ePress / ITDC News /Agencies/ Bhopal: Jammu and Kashmir: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board has issued a notification for recruitment to 458 Junior Engineer (Civil) posts. The recruitment will be carried out in the Jal Shakti Department and the Public Works Department (R&B). Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply online from November 30, 2026. The last date for submitting applications has been fixed as December 29, 2026.
Posts to be filled in two departments: Under the recruitment, 282 posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) are included in the Jal Shakti Department and 176 posts in the Public Works Department. A total of 458 vacancies will be filled. The board issued the notification on October 27, 2026, under advertisement number 11/2026.
Educational qualification: Applicants should have a three-year diploma in civil engineering from a recognised institute, or a degree in civil engineering as per the prescribed standards, or the relevant AMIE qualification. Candidates should check all eligibility rules given in the notification before applying.
Age limit and salary: The pay scale for these posts has been fixed under Pay Level-6, from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400. Age limit and category-wise relaxation rules may vary, so candidates are advised to read the official advertisement carefully.
