CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A grand closing ceremony was organized on the theme “End of Plastic Pollution” at the college located in Karond, Bhopal, on the occasion of World Environment Day. The event was conducted with the support of the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal.
The chief guest, Dr. Nipun Silawat, inspired the youth to take concrete steps toward environmental conservation. The program was presided over by Mrs. Poonam Chouksey, Chairperson of JNCT Professional University, who highlighted the green initiatives and innovations being carried out by the institution.
Students from various departments of the university actively participated in slogan writing, essay writing, and poster-making competitions. Winners were awarded certificates and mementos.
The presence of Registrar Mr. Mohit Pandya, principals of various departments, faculty members, and students contributed to making the event highly successful and inspiring.
The primary objective of the event was to raise environmental awareness and instill sensitivity towards nature among the youth.
