CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: H.K. Sharma, Divisional Joint Director of the Women and Child Development Department, Bhopal, conducted a surprise inspection of Centre No. 1061 at Shabri Nagar under Project Banganga, Sector Ambedkar.
Sharma appreciated the work carried out at the anganwadi through the Noble Social Foundation. He also praised the God Bharai programme being conducted continuously at the anganwadi for the past eight months by HER HEALTH. Dr. Shivani from Her Health organised the God Bharai programme, in which around 20 women were present. Senior Dr. Shashi Thakur held a discussion on yoga during pregnancy.
Regarding the Pulse Polio campaign, the Joint Director instructed that anganwadi workers, assistants and supervisors must pay special attention to ensure that no eligible child is left out from receiving polio drops. He directed that anganwadi workers, along with ASHA workers, must ensure home visits to all malnourished children linked to the anganwadi centre, and that weekly follow-up be carried out on the Sampark app. Supervisors must mandatorily verify this. Guidance was also provided to supervisors, anganwadi workers and assistants for further improving their work.
