“Kalakunj Foundation conducted tree plantation on Environment Day.”

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “On the occasion of Environment Day, Bhopal’s Kalakunj Foundation, in collaboration with YI Bhopal, conducted a two-day tree plantation drive as part of the Anvi Campaign. On the first day, tree plantation took place at Daulatpur, Chichli, Dhooli Khadan, and Garib Nagar Anganwadi. The event was attended by members of the YI Chapter, including Poojashree Choukse, Vaibhav, Juhi, Richa Bhadoriya, and Kapila.

The children at the Anganwadi were briefed about seed balls, how to make them, and their benefits. They were taught how to place them in inaccessible areas before rainfall so that plants can grow from them. Information regarding this was provided, and then everyone participated in the tree plantation. Five plants and 30 seed balls were distributed in each Anganwadi. Finally, all YI members and children pledged to collectively ensure the safety and growth of the plants.”
