CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Jitu Patwari, President of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee, energetically began his roadshow in support of Congress candidate Dhiren Shah for the Amarwara Assembly by-election from the village of Dhaba. After conducting extensive public outreach in villages like Sukhari, Hingpani, Chuhadehi, Chhui, Sahkari Chandangaon, Chikhlikala, Paunar, Sukrutola, Binekidhana, Marka Wada, Lingpani, Umaria, Khireti, Badela, Khami, Salivada, and others, Mr. Patwari reached Amarwara and held a meeting with Congress members.

While addressing the roadshow, Mr. Patwari stated that the people of the Amarwara Assembly had elected Kamlesh Shah as their Congress representative for five years just four months ago. However, to escape the consequences of his corrupt actions and for personal gain, he joined the BJP and is now standing before the people as a BJP candidate. He has betrayed not only the Congress party, which gave him a ticket three times but also the people of the Amarwara Assembly constituency. Mr. Patwari emphasized that this is a crucial moment for the people of Amarwara to teach a lesson to a deceitful, selfish, and arrogant individual.

Mr. Patwari contrasted the two candidates by highlighting that Congress candidate Dhiren Shah is associated with the Anchalakund Darbar, with four generations of his ancestors dedicated to selfless public service. On the other hand, the BJP candidate prefers to conduct politics from his home and palace, unwilling to meet the people, with his politics beginning in self-interest and ending in corruption. He pointed out that the BJP made numerous promises to the state’s people and reneged on them after coming to power, whether it was about setting the wheat price at Rs. 2700, the paddy price at Rs. 3100, giving Rs. 3000 per month to Ladli Bahnas, or providing gas cylinders at Rs. 450. The BJP forgot all the promises after winning the election.

Mr. Patwari mentioned that Kamal Nath has been serving the people of Chhindwara district for 45 years and that Congress’s victory would curb the BJP government. He noted that Kamal Nath has developed Chhindwara district the most alongside the entire state. In a democracy, a strong opposition raises the voice for people’s interests and rights against the anti-public decisions taken by the government. Therefore, it is essential for the Congress candidate to win in the Amarwara election.

Mr. Patwari also highlighted numerous scams in recruitment exams under BJP rule, with over 40 recruitment exam scams, including Vyapam, Patwari recruitment, police recruitment, and even paper leaks in the NEET exam.

On this occasion, neighboring MLA Sohan Lal Balmik, Chaurai MLA Sujit Singh, Champalal Kurche, Anand Rajput, Kailash Jain, Bhupendra Patel, Vijay Lodhi, Kalyan Patel, Nirmal Patel, Lakhan Lodhi, Pritam Patel, Ibne Hasan Rizvi, Anurag Bhargava, Kamlesh Sahu, Maloth Chandravanshi, Gulab Chandravanshi, Prem Patel, Gunjan Shukla, Dimakchand Uike, Shankar Dhurve, Moti Patel, Gariba Dahariya, Irfan Khan, and others were present.
