Kanpur Metro’s operating timetable has been changed on the occasion of Diwali. On the festival day, metro services will be available only until 7 pm. After that, all metro trains will be stopped. On normal days, Kanpur Metro operates until 10 pm.
In view of the festival, the change has been made keeping passenger convenience and operational arrangements in mind. People planning to travel by metro have been advised to plan their journey according to the scheduled timings so that they do not face inconvenience due to missing the last train.
As metro services will not be available after the evening on Diwali, passengers will have to arrange alternative means for their travel. It will be more convenient to travel keeping the revised metro timings in mind.
