CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At the Shri Pashupatinath Nepali Samaj Temple in Govindpura, more than 300 Kanwariyas along with local residents performed abhishek of Lord Pashupatinath with water from the Narmada River and milk at 8 AM. During the ceremony, BHEL Executive Director P.K. Upadhyay, Councilor Ashok Vani, Shri Mahesh Malviya, along with office bearers, former officials, and members of the society, were present.

The President of the Nepali Samaj, Lokmani Ghimire, and General Secretary Suresh Pandey shared that over 300 Kanwar pilgrims from the Nepali community carried holy water from Budhni Ghat, Narmadapuram, and set off chanting “Bol Bam” and praises of Lord Pashupatinath. After an overnight rest during the journey, they were welcomed in Bhopal at Ganesh Mandir, Habibganj by community leaders and dignitaries. The Kanwar Yatra concluded at the Pashupatinath Temple, where the sacred Narmada water and milk brought by the pilgrims were offered to Lord Bholenath in a ceremonial abhishek.
