CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Kargil Vijay Diwas was commemorated at LNCT University to honor the supreme sacrifice and bravery of the nation’s valiant martyrs. The dignified event saw the presence of Dr. Vishwas Kumar Chauhan, Member of the Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission, as the Chief Guest; Colonel Narayan Parwani as the Keynote Speaker; and Shivkumar Upadhyay, Member of the Madhya Pradesh Jammu & Kashmir Study Center, as a special guest.
Colonel Parwani narrated the heroism of India’s brave soldiers who laid down their lives during the Kargil War, highlighting the valor and courage of the Indian Army. During the ceremony, NCC cadets and students paid tribute to the fallen heroes by observing a two-minute silence.
Following the tribute, NCC ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificates were distributed to the cadets by the esteemed guests.
On behalf of LNCT University, Secretary Anupam Chouksey welcomed the dignitaries and encouraged students to lead disciplined lives akin to that of the armed forces.
Registrar Ajit Kumar Soni expressed gratitude to all the guests, faculty members, and students present at the event.
The program was conducted by Captain Piyush Nema. At the end of the ceremony, mementos were presented to the invited dignitaries as a token of appreciation.
