Karmayogi Training Continues at Bhopal E-Daksh Centre for Public Servants

CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A comprehensive training programme under the Karmayogi Kartavya programme was organised on Wednesday by the District e-Governance Society, Bhopal, at the E-Daksh Centre, Bhopal, with the objective of instilling a culture of service spirit among public servants and developing the concept of public-centred administration. The programme was held under the direction of Collector Shri Priyank Mishra and the guidance of Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat, Ila Tiwari. Medical officers, community health officers, iGOT nodal officers and other officers and employees of the Public Health and Medical Education Department participated in the training.

For the effective implementation of the Karmayogi Kartavya campaign, activating every officer and employee of the district on the iGOT Karmayogi portal, and linking departmental employees with online courses and capacity-building activities, a district-level committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the Collector. The committee includes the Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat, the District Informatics Officer, the District e-Governance Manager and all district officers.

The Karmayogi programme is a national-level practical training programme whose main objective is to develop a sense of public service among public servants and make them efficient, accountable and service-oriented. Along with making government employees proficient in administrative work, the programme encourages them to prioritise public interest, transparency and accountability.

Under the training programme, master trainers from various departments have been receiving training from 07 August. Thereafter, the trained officers and employees will, as master trainers, provide training to all public servants of their respective departments by 31 December 2026.
