CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Washington. Former press secretary to US President Donald Trump, Karoline Leavitt, is set to join Fox News. Fox News Media has announced that Leavitt will work as an on-air contributor from November 1, 2026, offering political commentary and analysis across various programmes.
Leavitt, 29, served as press secretary in the Trump administration from January 2025 to August 2026. She was the youngest person in American history to be appointed to the post. During her tenure at the White House, she was a key spokesperson presenting the administration’s policies and President Trump’s decisions to the media.
Leavitt decided in August to step down as press secretary to give more time to her family and two young children. Her second child was born in May 2026. She had said the responsibilities of the White House press secretary required constant time and energy, and that she wanted to spend adequate time with her children.
Fox News chief executive officer Suzanne Scott said Leavitt’s experience in the White House and on the presidential election campaign would give her a distinct perspective on political developments. Leavitt also expressed happiness at joining Fox News and said she would present her views to audiences on the basis of her White House experience.
Before Leavitt, former Trump administration press secretary Kayleigh McEnany had also joined Fox News after leaving the White House. Leavitt’s new role is therefore being seen as the next phase of her work at the intersection of American politics and media.
