The Kayaking and Canoeing (K&C) selection trials for the residential training program will be held at SAI CRC Bhopal on February 27 and 28, 2025. This trial offers young athletes an excellent opportunity to showcase their potential and advance in the field of water sports.
The two-day selection process will include:
✅ Sports science testing
✅ Kayaking and Canoeing skill assessment
📌 Note: Swimming is mandatory for participation in these selection trials.
Eligibility Criteria for Selection
According to Arpit Gupta (ARM), the eligibility criteria are based on age and height requirements:
👦 For Boys:
Age 12-15 years: Minimum height 170 cm
Age 16-18 years: Minimum height 175 cm
👧 For Girls:
Age 12-15 years: Minimum height 165 cm
Age 16-18 years: Minimum height 170 cm
Documents Required for Registration
Participants must submit the original and two self-attested photocopies of the following documents:
📌 Birth Certificate (Issued by Government Authority or Panchayat)
📌 Educational Certificates & Marksheet
📌 Aadhaar Card
📌 Sports Achievement Certificates (if any)
📌 4 Recent Passport Size Photographs
📌 Medical Certificate (if applicable)
📌 No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Department (if a government employee’s ward)
