Khushilal Medical College Executive Committee Meeting Held at Bhopal Campus

CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Divisional Commissioner Karmveer Sharma has directed the officials concerned to prepare a detailed report for constructing the required pathways and bridges to connect the hospital, college, girls’ hostel, auditorium and herbal garden on the Pandit Khushilal Hospital campus. Sharma chaired a meeting of the executive committee of Khushilal Medical College in the college meeting hall on Monday.

At the meeting, in-principle approval was given to open the herbal garden developed on the campus for schoolchildren so that they can receive detailed information about Ayurvedic plants. Schools can now take their students on a tour of the herbal garden. A fee of Rs 10 per student was also approved for this purpose. Approval was also granted to complete repair work of the hospital affiliated with the college and the PG building within the stipulated time, and to modernise the college laboratories and upgrade their functioning. Professors were also permitted to organise workshops from time to time with the Indian Council of Medical Science and other professionals. Approval was also given to purchase medicines required for the super-speciality wing.

Divisional Commissioner Sharma approved the purchase of necessary equipment and modernisation material for different departments of the hospital affiliated with the college through the Health Corporation and purchase store norms, including a digital X-ray machine, firefighting equipment and CCTV cameras in all testing laboratories. Sharma also sought detailed information on patenting the research work of PG students affiliated with the college and directed that all possible assistance be provided to the students.

Deputy Secretary, AYUSH, Su Ranjana Devda; Joint Commissioner Dr. Vinod Yadav; Principal Dr. Umesh Shukla; Khushilal College Superintendent Dr. Hariprasad Sharma; committee members Dr. Urmila Shukla, Dr. R. Pati, Dr. Rita Marwa and Rajesh Bhavsar were present at the meeting.
